Job Description
This part-time position at PlayStation Studios in Tokyo involves testing Japanese versions of games developed by PlayStation Studios. Responsibilities include verifying the accuracy and consistency of localized content, ensuring it aligns with the game's overall theme and comparing it to the original version for any discrepancies in content or behavior. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a passion for gaming. Experience in game testing (LQA) and/or software localization is preferred, but the company provides training and support for those without prior experience. Past titles tested include God of War, The Last of Us, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Horizon. While prior experience is helpful, those with a passion for games and interest in software localization are encouraged to apply. Students are not eligible.
Must have:
- Game testing experience (LQA)
- Attention to detail
- Passion for gaming
- Japanese language proficiency
Good to have:
- Software localization experience
- Experience with translation
