The Product Excellence Manager at Google's gTech Ads Enablement Apps team is responsible for improving the serviceability of ad products. This involves evaluating product readiness, identifying gaps, consolidating feedback, and working with Product Management, Engineering, and Global Sales. Responsibilities include designing communications and launch programs, driving marketing objectives, guaranteeing technical integrations, improving product features, performing implementation reviews, and identifying business growth opportunities. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in product/program management
  • 3+ years data analysis experience (SQL, MySQL, Tableau)
  • 3+ years in systems/product design
  • Customer-facing experience communicating technical concepts
Good to have:
  • 3+ years experience with internet products and technologies
  • Experience with Product Management and Engineering
  • Knowledge of advertising market or online ads landscape

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product or program management.
  • 3 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience working with systems design and product design.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, communicating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Internet products and technologies.
  • Experience working with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Knowledge of the advertising market or online ads landscape.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders, with excellent relationship building, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, and ability to pull from many different data sources and provide insights on that data.
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. The gTech Ads Enablement Apps team collaborates closely with Product Management, Engineering and Global Sales, to proactively improve the serviceability of products by evaluating product readiness, identifying product gaps, and consolidating product feedback. We are the single point of accountability within gTech to our product and sales counterparts for the success of the product life-cycle. We aim to grow our team with people who will share our dedication to providing an optimal experience for our advertisers and publishers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design effective communications and launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before broad-scale deployment.
  • Drive activation of Apps Marketing Objectives and related GPPs. Guarantee the technical aspects of integrations by providing necessary documentation and guidance.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and Global Sales teams.
  • Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Identify, drive, and optimize the business growth from new opportunities by leveraging Google technologies.
