We are looking for a Product Manager that will work with a team to drive our content roadmap and strategic alignment, and partner with our creative studios. The role will be key in developing the content roadmap for our Class 3 Australian, New Zealand and Asia business lines, supporting the development of planned content to be the best in the industry.
What You'll Do
- In this role you will be a problem solver and a negotiator, partnering with different internal teams to negotiate features and timelines that ensure your products are world-class.
- This role is critical to the Aristocrat business and will have high visibility to senior leadership.
- You will be the expert on all things game related and be able to communicate a vision on product strategy to different audiences.
- You will be a team player who partners with your team to oversee the entire Aristocrat Games portfolio and its strategic objectives.
- You will assist in developing the products from concept through to execution and postmortem.
- Oversee the content roadmap for Australian, New Zealand and Asia portfolios.
- Partner with creative studios to solve problems and gaps in the market.
- Build requirements and ensure all games are meeting our strategic objectives.
- Focus on ensuring product portfolio specs, technical dependencies are understood and tracked against the product delivery.
- Solve problems every day, aligning with our business strategies and values, to ensure that the best games get to market.
- Undertake research and build insights on the market to equip development teams.
- Understand how to communicate sensitive information to different audiences.
- Understand technical language and can simplify it for different audiences, with the proven ability to work with various cultures and time zones.
- Prioritize new feature development and juggle many projects at once, so must be highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- You will have to think ‘Big Picture’ and long term by planning out 2 years in advance or longer.
- Make decisions quickly and back them up with data.
- Compile documentation and game reviews.
- Develop and review product with D&D to ensure new developments are built to spec, meet our strategic objectives regarding both our company and competitor products.
- Identify and define trends, gaps and solutions to meet changing market requirements and competitors’ products.
- Travel (domestically and internationally) to understand different markets for your product line.
- This is not a full-time desk position, you will be expected to attend customer/venue visits, game reviews, offsites and industry trade events.
What We're Looking For
- You have 2+ years minimum experience in product management with experience in slots and knowledge in gaming jurisdictional requirements is highly preferential – a passion for slots and the gaming industry is crucial.
- You are obsessed with detail, have sound logical, analytical and numerical capabilities.
- You’re curious - a problem solver, you can’t pass by a puzzle or issue without wanting to dive in and help to solve it.
- You'll love the products you create and are passionate about games and the product journey from concept to delivery.
- You have a demonstrated understanding of game production and art processes across all art disciplines.
- You are driven and infamous for rolling up your sleeves and just getting things done.
- You demonstrate initiative and are a self-starter in everything you do.
- You have outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships, influence, and advocate.
- You have experience in understanding and communicating product vision.
- You can understand and interpret different technical requirements.
- You can wear multiple ‘hats’ and work with different teams from creative to business departments.
- You are a “team-player” with the ability to work within collaborative environments across the business, by forming high quality relationships, build and continuously improve our sustainability practices, whilst serving as a trusted business partner.
- You have familiarity with maths probability used in gaming.
- You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, Tableau, and other product management data tools.
