This is a hybrid (1-2 days onsite per week) Product Marketing Manager role at a major American e-commerce company selling vintage items, jewelry, apparel, and home décor, located in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include developing and executing consumer product marketing strategies to drive awareness and engagement, owning go-to-market strategies for new product launches, conducting competitive analysis, partnering with various teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Brand, Analytics, Channel Owners, and Marketing Teams), setting measurable marketing goals, and tracking campaign success. This 12+ month contract opportunity requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in consumer product marketing, with proven ability to drive growth. Strong quantitative and qualitative user research skills and experience influencing cross-functional teams are essential.

We’re currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager for a major American e-commerce company based in Brooklyn, NY. This hybrid role (1-2 days onsite per week) offers an exciting opportunity to shape go-to-market strategies and drive customer engagement for an innovative brand selling vintage items, jewelry, apparel, and home décor.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to driving customer growth and loyalty by developing impactful product marketing strategies. You’ll be responsible for creating go-to-market plans, enhancing product engagement, and collaborating across teams to deliver successful marketing initiatives. This is a 12+ month opportunity with the chance to make a significant impact at a well-known e-commerce brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of consumer product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement of features that help buyers connect with the right products and sellers.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Design, Brand, and Analytics.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and leverage user insights to create targeted marketing plans and define buyer personas.
  • Partner with Channel Owners and Marketing Teams to develop on-site and off-site marketing campaigns.
  • Set clear, measurable marketing goals and track progress to ensure the success of campaigns and product initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 4+ years of experience in consumer product marketing.
  • Strong experience in quantitative and qualitative user research methods, as well as growth marketing tactics that simplify complex concepts into effective marketing.
  • Proven ability to drive growth and deliver results through product marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience influencing cross-functional teams and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • SQL proficiency is preferred, but not required.

To qualify for our benefits package, candidates must work over 30 hours per week, and assignments must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
