The Product Trainer will empower and educate financial institutions on Nasdaq Verafin's innovative software application. They will collaborate with customers, guiding them to effectively use the tools to meet their objectives. The responsibilities include leading engaging online training sessions for banks and credit unions, ensuring training timelines are met, managing multiple training projects, answering customer questions, staying updated on industry trends, developing documentation, collaborating with other teams, and enhancing customer satisfaction. They will also develop and tailor training plans to meet customer needs, keeping up with product changes. The role involves actively seeking opportunities to enhance skills and deliver high-quality work exceeding expectations.
Must have:
  • Experience in training on software applications or as a professional educator.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience training B2B customers on software applications.
  • Ability to confidently present to groups using various delivery methods (online and in-person).
  • Confident, articulate, and professional communication abilities.
  • A love for learning, instructing, and mastering complex software applications.
  • Ability to embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience in the banking industry.

 Exciting Opportunity: Product Trainer 

 

We're seeking a talented Product Trainer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll be essential in empowering and educating financial institutions on our innovative software application. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, guiding them to effectively use and excel with our tools to meet their objectives. We seek enthusiastic team players who are constantly looking for ways to grow and enhance their skills. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead Engaging Training Sessions: Schedule and conduct online software training for banks and credit unions. 

  • Master Time Management: Ensure training timelines are met with effective time management skills. 

  • Juggle Multiple Projects: Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple ongoing training projects. 

  • Be the Go-To Expert: Respond to customer questions promptly and accurately. 

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up to date on financial regulatory requirements and industry trends. 

  • Create Valuable Resources: Develop and maintain internal documentation and resources. 

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with other teams on project implementation. 

  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and build strong client relationships. 

  • Customize Training Plans: Develop and tailor training plans to meet customer needs. 

  • Stay Informed: Keep up with product changes and industry trends. 

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in training on software applications or as a professional educator. 

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, Adult Education, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. 

  • Previous experience training B2B customers on software applications is a requirement. 

  • Ability to confidently present to groups using various delivery methods (online and in-person). 

  • Confident, articulate, and professional communication abilities. 

  • A love for learning, instructing, and mastering complex software applications. 

  • Ability to embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment.

  • Previous experience in the banking industry an asset. 

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

This position can be located in St. John’s or Toronto, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (2 days a week in office), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates
