The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of commercial properties, managing day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and maintenance. They will coordinate with building engineers and the accounting team, as well as tenants, vendors, and contractors. Responsibilities include building tenant relationships, responding to inquiries, preparing budgets, financial reporting, negotiating service agreements, ensuring lease compliance, conducting property inspections, and coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs. This role requires a proactive approach to property management and fostering positive business relationships.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Position Overview:
 
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team. This role will oversee a portfolio of commercial properties located in Bellevue, Auburn, Federal Way and Seattle. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented professional with strong vendor management skills and a collaborative mindset.
 
Reporting directly to the Director of Asset Management, the Property Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and maintenance of assigned properties. This position involves regular coordination with building engineers and Fana’s Accounting team, as well as tenants, vendors, and contractors.
 
What you’ll do as the  Property Manager:

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and service requests.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, financial reporting, and tracking building-related projects.
  • Negotiate and manage service agreements, vendor contracts, and work order requests, ensuring quality service and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure lease and regulatory compliance, and uphold obligations outlined in management contracts.
  • Conduct regular property inspections with engineers and service providers to ensure properties are maintained to high standards.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including walkthroughs and tenant improvement projects.
  • Actively participate in professional organizations and industry events to foster business relationships.
 
What you bring:
 
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • Five years of commercial property management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with Yardi, MRI/Angus or similar property management software is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between Bellevue, Seattle, Auburn, and Federal Way as needed.
