Job Description

As a QA Engineer DVA at LeoVegas Group, you will be crucial in enhancing document verification and developing anti-money laundering features. You will be responsible for testing, documentation, and improving the player verification process and AML compliance. You'll work with expert back-end developers and QA engineers. This role focuses on the development of a multi-brand gaming platform, Rhino, built on 230+ microservices, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for customers.
Must have:
  • Knowledge of Automated Testing.
  • 2+ years of experience with Java + Spring Boot.
  • Experience with MySQL.
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Kotlin, Git, Kafka, Jenkins, Akka, and more.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies.
  • ISTQB-certified.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced QA engineer looking for a meaningful role in a dynamic environment? Join our Document Verification & AML team at LeoVegas Group, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our document verification process and developing anti-money laundering features. Your work will ensure a seamless, secure, and enjoyable experience for our customers across all our brands.

 

In this position, you will focus on refining the document verification journey and enhancing our AML compliance. Our mission is to create a smooth verification journey as well as keeping our system secure from an AML perspective. We leverage data-driven insights and a robust CI/CD process, following the Kanban methodology to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work alongside expert back-end developers specialising in Java and Kotlin, as well as dedicated Quality Assurance Engineers.

 

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Helping the development of a multi-brand gaming platform called Rhino, built on 230+ microservices.
  • Driving continuous improvement in the player verification process and AML compliance through innovative solutions.
  • Testing (unit, regression, smoke) and updating documentation.
  • Participating in architectural discussions and suggesting ideas for technical improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Working closely with Backend Engineers, QA Engineers and TA Engineers.

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Automated Testing.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in using Java + Spring Boot framework.
  • You have experience with MySQL.
  • You are familiar with microservice architectures.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience with Kotlin, Git, Kafka, Jenkins, Akka, Hazelcast, and Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and hands-on experience with tools like Postman.
  • You are ISTQB-certified.
