Job Description:

Gamezop is seeking a QA Engineer who is knowledgeable in writing and executing test cases to verify the functionality of our websites. As a QA Tester, your responsibilities and duties include testing applications in both the pre and post-release stages of the development lifecycle and documenting the results for review.

What we expect:

• 0 to 2 years of experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of software testing theory.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Understanding of frontend and backend testing approaches and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to write test documentation.
• Ability to analyse business and functional requirements.
• Fluency in Scrum and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the functionality of applications according to requirement specifications.
• Identify, record, document, alert, and track defects for developers to fix.
• Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
• Update and maintain test cases.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and provide meaningful inputs.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Work with senior QA engineers to understand and work on automation testing.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in testing games will be a huge plus
• Any experience with automation (especially Cypress) will be a huge plus
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of functional, API, WEB (or mobile) application testing.
