N-iX are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA Engineer to join our team, working on an innovative Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, with hands-on experience using .NET and Selenium for automated testing, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our ATS platform. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions.
Main responsibilities
- Perform manual testing to validate new features, identify defects, and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and .NET.
- Continuously enhance the automation framework and processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, quality, and performance.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, ensuring alignment with team and company goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA and automated testing.
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years experience performing manual testing for web-based applications.
- Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium and .NET.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Experience of using tools such as SoapUI, Postman, or WebInject
- SQL query knowledge for back end data validation
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Able to work effectively in a fast paced methodology such as Agile/Scrum
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
