Job Description

The Regional Operations Manager for Trust and Safety Compute at Google will lead the resolution of policy issues for Trust and Safety (T&S) Play and Android Operations, ensuring a safe app experience. Responsibilities include managing escalations, process improvement to mitigate future risks, and collaboration with stakeholders across various teams (Play Partnerships, Policy, Operations, Engineering, Product, Government Affairs, and Legal). The role involves delivering cross-functional projects, representing the APAC region to gather stakeholder feedback, identifying risks, building strategies, leading policy education for developers, and improving Google Play's presence. Fluency in Vietnamese and English is crucial for managing communications and policy within the region.

Must have:

4+ years in Trust & Safety or related fields
Fluent in Vietnamese and English
Lead policy issue resolutions
Manage escalations and process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Good to have:

Experience developing narratives and presenting to senior executives
Knowledge of content moderation, policy enforcement, customer support
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in Trust and Safety, policy, business operations, content moderations or related fields.
Ability to communicate in Vietnamese and English fluently to manage communications and policy in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in developing narratives to influence internal and external stakeholders, as well as presenting to senior executives in the organization.
Knowledge of content moderation, development operations, policy enforcement, customer support or policy creation.
Ability to solve operational or policy problems, working with various cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present policy concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fluid environment.

Manage escalations, and deliver process improvement to mitigate the future risks, working with stakeholders across Play Partnerships, Policy, Operations, Engineering, Product, Government Affairs and Legal teams.
Deliver cross-functional projects collaborating with teams across various regions to land foundational improvement to our policies and enforcement processes.
Represent APAC region to gather stakeholder feedback for Google Play Policies and Operations, identify risks and build strategies.
Lead policy education for developers in the region and improve the presence and influence of Google Play.
