In this job role you will be part of the Philips EI II RI, the organization responsible for the security implementation, management and maintenance of Philips Imaging Informatics product installed base.

You are responsible for

• The purpose of the Remote Service Engineer job family is to receive, understand, route and handle customer technical requests such as product or service malfunctions.  

• These requests or Incidents can be received via multiple contact channels, which include the creation of Cases or Work orders, Parts requests, and communicating status and providing solutions to the customer to enable Remote resolution, or Diagnosis before dispatch to allow for First visit resolution.  

• This family is technical in nature, and works collaboratively with the wider organisation to provide exceptional service to our customers.  

• Services are not limited to product malfunctions and can be proactive, predictive, upgrades and installations, and can be provided verbally, electronically or remotely or via accessing Philips Remote Service channels.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Wintel Administration.

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Windows Server Patching (2008R2/ 2012R2/ 2016/2019/2022 etc..) and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Linux Server and ESXi patching methodologies.

• Strong VMware administration skills, including virtual machine management and patching.

• Knowledge of security antivirus solutions and their implementation in enterprise environments.

• ITIL V4 certification or equivalent knowledge.

• Certifications such as Security++ and Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022 would be advantageous.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
