Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications that integrate with the client’s centralized messaging platform to ensure seamless communication with users.
• Ensure all messaging features adhere to brand guidelines and maintain high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, and backend engineers) to design and implement new messaging features and systems.
• Optimize messaging systems for better delivery rates and user engagement, ensuring performance at scale.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Extensive experience in Android development with a deep understanding of the Android SDK.
• Solid experience with functional programming concepts and state management frameworks.
• Expertise in reactive programming using tools like RxJava and Android Coroutines.
• Proven track record in developing robust and scalable mobile applications.

Preferred:

• Experience working with messaging systems or related technologies.
• Proficiency in the Android Compose design system.
• Familiarity with the client's messaging platform and ecosystem.
• Experience in integration and end-to-end testing.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers, fostering team growth and collaboration.
