Role overview:
OMS is the strategic DB output management platform that generates over 50 million documents per month. We transform the raw data coming from various areas of our Bank's business and transform it into human readable formats, such as PDF or AFP.
The ITAO must ensure that the applications are enhanced and maintained in accordance with the Bank's IT Policy requirements and ensure proper infrastructure support is available.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
Enterprise IT governance: reviews business applications for compliance with the organization's obligations.
Information security: explains the purpose of and provides advice and guidance on the technical and operational controls. Performs security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and business impact analysis.
Change management: reviews implementation plans for complex requests for change. Seeks authority for those activities, reviews the effectiveness of change implementation.
Ensuring that the changes to the applications in scope are fully aligned to Deutsche Bank standards and regulations. The focus is to guarantee the system stability and to ensure a smooth and successful transition to production, steady-state environment.
Managing software licenses, security certificates and contracts with service providers and other support related activities.
Managing relationship with one or several application development and support vendors.
Ensuring documentation availability.
Identifying, documenting and communicating risks and issues discovered during delivery cycle.
It's possible to grow beyond ITAO role, e.g. release management, SRE or devops, application production management or client service roles.
Must have
Solid technical background and understanding of the enterprise level business application SDLC. Over 2 years experience in tech role, such as information security, application or infrastructure support, administrator, SRE, devops or development roles.
Ability to multitask and work with multiple stakeholders, manage expectations and priorities.
Excellent communicator: ability to narrow down enterprise wide expectations to a particular business application scope, engage relevant people, ask questions and understand answers, ability to smartly escalate roadblocks or issues requiring management attention.
Fluency in English
Highly organised and self-driven worker with strong analytical skills
Experience in one or several of following areas:
ITIL Processes (Incident-, Problem-, Change-Management)
Information security risk management.
Identity and access management.
Vendor management, including vendor risk assessments.
Communication and encryption protocols
Networking (firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
CI/CD toolchain (preferably Github Actions)
Infrastructure as code (terraform)
Cloud hosting (preferably GCP)
Java based frameworks (preferably Spring)
Test and deployment automation tools
Other: mandatory 2 days / week onsite on client's premises / bvd Dimitrie Pompeiu
