Job Description

Luxoft's Bucharest Development Center seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) to contribute to projects for world-renowned clients. Responsibilities include collaborating with international teams to build and maintain app features, ensuring code quality through unit testing and code reviews, adhering to coding standards and security best practices, and working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. The role involves contributing to developer guilds, continuous learning, and leveraging skills in Java, NodeJS, Spring, Hibernate/MyBatis, REST APIs, GCP, Angular, and SQL (Oracle).

Must have:

3+ years Java development experience
2+ years NodeJS experience
Strong Java Core knowledge
Experience with Spring, Hibernate/MyBatis, REST API
Cloud experience (GCP)
Solid Angular 2+ experience
Web technologies expertise (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, Grunt, Bootstrap, Angular)
Design patterns understanding
Maven, JIRA, GIT, Confluence experience
Strong SQL and Oracle database skills
Tomcat and Oracle WebLogic Server experience
Good English communication skills

Good to have:

Agile/SCRUM experience

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities:

Work together with our highly skilled international development teams to build and maintain features of our Apps and systems.

Ensure proper performance and quality of the code you write and continuously participate in code reviews.

Write unit tests for robustness, edge cases and general reliability.

Write code in compliance with our coding standards and security mechanisms.

Continuously collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, designers and QA team in an agile environment.

Participate in developer guilds and enjoy learning/sharing knowledge with the team.

Skills

Must have

Main requirements:

Java development experience 3+ years

Solid experience with NodeJS 2+years

Strong Java Core knowledge

Experience working with Spring, Hibernate/MyBatis, REST API

Cloud experience (GCP mainly)

Solid experience with Angular 2+

Experience with Web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, Grunt, Bootstrap, Angular, etc)

Good understanding of design patterns

Experience using Maven

Experience using JIRA, GIT Stash, Confluence

Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle databases

Experience using Tomcat and Oracle WebLogic Server

Good English

Open and willing to learn new technologies

Proactive, problem solving attitude

Technical leadership skills

Communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

Additional requirements (desirable):
