Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior OutSystems Developer to design and develop responsive web and mobile applications. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, collaborating with UX/UI designers, integrating applications with various data sources, performing testing (unit, system, and user acceptance), managing deployments, providing ongoing maintenance, and creating technical documentation. The role involves working on cutting-edge technologies impacting thousands of users and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the insurance field. The ideal candidate possesses strong OutSystems proficiency, expertise in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL), and experience with APIs and security best practices (SQL injection, XSS).

Must have:

Proficiency in OutSystems development
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL)
Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs
Experience handling injection & XSS
Familiarity with agile methodologies

Responsibilities

Application Development: Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform. Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.

UI/UX Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.

Integration: Integrate applications with various data sources and third-party services, ensuring seamless operation.

Testing: Perform unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of the applications.

Deployment: Manage the deployment of applications to various environments, including production, and ensure successful launches.

Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, addressing bugs, and implementing enhancements.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.

Skills

Must have

Proficiency in OutSystems development. Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration. Experience in handling injection (Sql, Js etc.) and Cross Site Scripting (XSS) Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
