As a Senior Solutions Acceleration Architect, Applications, you'll lead the design and development of prototypes showcasing the power of data, analytics, AI, and software engineering to solve business challenges for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers. You will collaborate with customers, understand their needs, and build strong relationships. Responsibilities include architecting and developing scalable, cloud-native applications on GCP, driving iterative development, and ensuring alignment with business requirements. You'll also establish best practices for AI-driven applications and contribute to industry thought leadership. The role involves utilizing various technologies (JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, etc.) to build full-stack prototypes and working cross-functionally to influence Google Cloud strategy and product direction. Mentoring team members and contributing to solution-building efforts are also key aspects of this position.
Must have:
- 10+ years in cloud computing, application architecture, and full-stack development
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Experience designing solutions for distributed systems
- Ability to analyze business problems and design technical solutions
Good to have:
- Customer-facing or consulting experience
- Experience designing and modernizing secure application architectures
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations
- Experience with various programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React, Angular)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in cloud computing, with application architecture and full stack development.
- Experience with modern application development and Developer Operations practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) with developing and deploying solutions.
- Experience in analyzing business problems and designing technical solutions to enhance existing systems.
- Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in cloud computing, with application architecture and full stack development, in a customer-facing or consulting role.
- Experience with designing and modernizing secure application architectures with integrating security best practices, mitigating potential vulnerabilities, and architecting solutions.
- Experience in understanding customer requirements, breaking them down into components, and designing technical architectures to meet those needs.
- Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and building consensus around technical projects.

Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Drive iterative development cycles to refine and optimize these solutions, ensuring alignment with specific business requirements and showcasing the transformative power of data-motivated solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business tests, technical requirements, and objectives. Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Establish and promote best practices and methodologies for AI-motivated applications, actively contributing to industry thought leadership through publications, presentations, and community engagement.
- Utilize a variety of technologies and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, etc.) to build full-stack prototypes, including front-end interfaces, back-end reasoning, and database integration.
- Work cross-functionally to influence Google Cloud strategy and product direction.
