Job Description
The Product Solutions Engineer, Payments Platform, role involves analyzing and resolving complex technical problems pre and post-launch for partner integrations. This includes understanding operational workflows, identifying tool needs for scaling, and driving the development and deployment of these tools. Collaboration with engineering teams to improve troubleshooting and user experience is key. The role also encompasses supporting technical integrations, testing, advocating for new features, and ensuring prompt resolution of technical challenges. Scaling support involves providing documentation, guidance, and training. Managing stakeholder expectations and communicating with internal and external partners to provide technical and business feedback is crucial.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent
- 4+ years coding experience (Java, C++, Python)
- 4+ years web tech experience (HTML, CSS, JS, HTTP)
- Technical troubleshooting experience
- Partner/customer management experience
Good to have:
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Database experience (SQL, NoSQL)
- Systems experience (Linux, Unix, Windows)
- Payments systems experience
- Problem-solving role experience (BI, Data Analytics)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- 4 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, etc.).
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
- Experience with payments systems.
- Experience in a problem-solving role such as Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Statistics.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve complex pre and post launch technical problems on partner integrations.
- Understand operational workflows, identify and define tool needs to enable operational scaling, and drive the development (both new and ongoing) and deployment of these tools internally and with Engineering.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
- Support technical integrations with partners, testing, advocate for new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges. Scale support of partner integrations (both new and ongoing) by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance and training to our technical scaled operations.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
