Job Description

The Senior Test Manager will ensure a consistent testing approach across 50+ product teams, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in Austria. Responsibilities include defining the testing strategy, plan, and risk management; establishing a testing framework encompassing tools, reports, and dashboards; creating a communication plan for various stakeholders; coordinating test leads and IT analysts; centralizing testing status updates; reporting to program management; escalating and resolving issues; providing final test approval; and acting as a point of contact for DevOps teams. The role requires experience in diverse testing methodologies, managing programming teams, and handling complex projects.

Must have:

Excellent communication and management skills
Knowledge of software engineering processes
Variety of testing experience
Strong planning skills
Programming team management experience
Experience with complex projects
English C1, German C1

Project description

The Test Manager will have to ensure a uniform approach by the approximately 50+ product teams as part of the project, as well as coordinating the UAT tests in Austria as a whole in coordination with the business streams.

Responsibilities

Define Testing Strategy, Testing Plan & Risk Management

Define TESTing framework: Tools, Reports, Dashboards

Define communication plan with: Program Management, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, stream leads

Coordinate test leads/IT analysts

Collect and centralize overall testing status (coverage/results/quality) from cross-functional teams

Report test status to program management

Escalate and follow up on blocking topics

Final test approval and recommendation for GO decision

Point of contact for tracking and follow up issues with management of DevOps teams

Skills

Must have

Communication and management skills are an absolute priority.

Knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process

Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools

Planning skills

Experience in managing programming teams

Experience in comparably complex projects.
