Job Description

As a Series Producer for Kids TV at Nine, you will be leading the production of children's programming, creating 150 episodes annually. Your responsibilities include overseeing production stages, managing schedules, developing content, ensuring adherence to guidelines, leading the team, and collaborating with stakeholders. You will be responsible for making sure the production is up to the mark and is engaging for young viewers across Australia. You will be working in Brisbane-based team.

  • Undergraduate degree or practical experience.

Job Description

Join Nine as Series Producer for Kids TV and take the reins of our exciting children's programming. You'll be at the heart of a dedicated Brisbane-based team crafting 150 engaging episodes each year for 9GO! and 9NOW, contributing to a diverse slate that includes lifestyle shows and major events. This is your chance to make a significant impact on young viewers across Australia.


Day to day you will:

  • Oversee all stages of kids' TV episode production, from concept to final delivery.
  • Manage pre and post-production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met effectively.
  • Develop and approve episode content and game formats, ensuring cohesive storytelling.
  • Ensure all programming strictly adheres to ACMA's C Classification guidelines and manage related applications.
  • Lead and collaborate with the production team and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Executive Producers on new content and format development.
  • Apply strong story structure knowledge, make quick decisions, and lead team development.
     

Qualifications

What you’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and foster collaboration within a team.
  • Competence in managing projects and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Undergraduate degree in Creative Industries or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with children's content or directly with children.
  • History of successful collaboration with external stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in Premier Pro.
