Job Description

This Service Technician Apprenticeship in Ghent, Belgium offers on-the-job training at a world-class Tesla Service Center. The intern will develop technical skills through training programs and mentorship from a Senior Technician. Responsibilities include tire changes, wheel swaps, fluid replenishments, Tesla-specific repairs (door handles, annual service, drive unit replacement), 4-wheel alignment, basic diagnostics, body adjustments, equipment inspections, and PDI of new cars. Proficiency in using hand, power, and shop tools is essential. The successful candidate will be enrolled in school during the apprenticeship and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Teamwork & reliability
C1 English (spoken & written)
Follow instructions
Basic computer skills
European driver's license

In this position, you will get the opportunity to develop your technical skills via a combination of exciting training programs and an ongoing training on the job, provided by a Senior Technician. You will be working at one of our world class Service Centers in Belgium.

What You’ll Do

Bandenwissels
Wielen wisselen
Vloeistof bijvullen
Deurgrepen (dit is een Tesla-specifieke reparatie, het is goed om te weten hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd)
Wisserbladen vervangen
Jaarlijkse service (dit is een Tesla-specifieke reparatie, het is goed om te weten hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd)
Uitlijning van 4 wielen (kennis en alle basisprincipes die te maken hebben met het uitlijnen van een voertuig)
Aandrijfeenheid vervangen (dit is een Tesla-specifieke reparatie, het is goed om te weten hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd)
Basisdiagnostiek
Carrosserie-aanpassingen
Bedienen van diverse hand-, elektrische en werkplaatsgereedschappen
Uitvoeren van apparatuurinspecties en -kalibraties
Uitvoeren van PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) van nieuwe auto's

What You’ll Bring

Je moet gedurende de stageperiode ingeschreven staan op school
Sterk gevoel voor teammentaliteit en betrouwbaarheid
Positief, enthousiast en gepassioneerd over de veranderingen in de transportsector
Niveau C1 in de Engelse taal (spreken en schrijven)
Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatievaardigheden en het vermogen om instructies op te volgen
Vermogen om zakelijke kwesties en technische concepten te begrijpen en over te brengen
Wij geven de voorkeur aan kandidaten met een Europees rijbewijs en een veilig rijgedrag
Computer basisvaardigheden (Excel, Word, Outlook, web)

You have to be enrolled in education for the full duration of this apprenticeship
Strong sense of team mentality and reliability
Positive, enthusiastic and passionate about the changes in the transportation industry
Level C1 in English language (spoken and written)
Good oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions as required
Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts
We prefer candidates with an European driver’s license with a safe driving record
Basic Computer skills (excel, word, outlook, web)
