About the Role:

Are you ready to drive transformative change in the world of sports? Join our Strategy Office and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sony Sports. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across Sony’s Sport ecosystem, including Hawk-Eye Innovations, Pulselive, Beyond Sports and KinaTrax, contributing to the evolution of cutting-edge technology in sports.

In this role, you will develop and execute strategies, tackle complex challenges, and deliver actionable solutions. You will also gain hands-on experience in M&A processes, strategic partnerships, and corporate development activities, while collaborating with stakeholders across Sony’s global network. This is a fantastic growth opportunity for a driven and ambitious professional with a few years of strategic experience, ready to step into a consultant-level role.

Key Details:

  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent

  • Location: Hybrid (spend at least 2 days per week in our London or Basingstoke offices)

  • Salary: Competitive

  • Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Your work will span core areas of Strategy Development, Execution, and Corporate Development, with responsibilities including:

  • Shaping the long-term strategy for the Sony Sports Group.

  • Solving complex problems and providing actionable insights to senior management.

  • Synthesising qualitative and quantitative data to address strategic challenges.

  • Advising Sony’s Sports Businesses on investment decisions and growth strategies.

  • Developing execution plans and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

  • Supporting senior leaders (SMT and ELT) in meetings by presenting clear, structured, and compelling analyses.

  • Driving commercial initiatives and identifying, evaluating, and prioritising opportunities.

  • Staying ahead of market trends and the competitive landscape.

  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Sony’s businesses.

Who You Are:

You’re a driven, adaptable professional with the following qualities:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a top-tier strategy consultancy or a similar in-house strategy function, ideally at a consultant level.

  • Problem-Solving: Adept at framing and structuring complex issues, synthesising data, and delivering actionable solutions.

  • Communication: An effective communicator with excellent presentation skills, capable of articulating insights to senior leadership.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong modeling and analysis capabilities, with the ability to utilise both quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Self-Starter: Proactive and organised, able to transition between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

  • Relationship Builder: Skilled at fostering connections with senior stakeholders and working collaboratively across functions.
