Job Description

This Technical Solutions Manager role within gTech Ads Sellside, Customer Experience at Google focuses on providing scalable solutions for sales teams and publishers, supporting millions of customers worldwide. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical problems, optimizing workflows, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to develop new tools, working with Consumer and Engineering teams to improve troubleshooting efficiency, and managing stakeholder expectations across internal and external teams (consumers, advertisers, publishers). The team works to improve Google's products based on evolving user needs and ensures smooth functioning of advertising systems. This is a cross-functional, global role requiring strong technical leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
1 year experience in technical troubleshooting and coding
Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management
Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies
Analyze and resolve technical problems

Good to have:

Knowledge of SQL/MySQL, Unix/Linux
Ability to collaborate and drive technical decisions
Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.
Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of SQL/MySQL, and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder groups.
Strong technical leadership, project management, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access.
Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows across a wide variety of projects.
Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products.
Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
