This role requires a skilled 3D Mocap Animator with 2+ years of experience in motion capture data editing and animation. Expertise in Vicon Shogun, MotionBuilder, and AAA game development is essential. You will be responsible for cleaning and refining motion capture data, retargeting animation, and collaborating with artists to create high-quality animations.

Description:
Your job will be cleaning up the marker data and processing it through a proprietary pipeline in preparation for the development team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of animation principles and an acute sense of timing and weight. You must have experience with motion-capture editing techniques.
A successful Motion Capture Cleanup Artist is expected to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, and a passion for developing high quality games and animations.

Extremely detail oriented and organized
Has worked on at least 1 AAA published PC or Console video game.
Qualifications:
2 years + experience as 3D animator
Strong understanding of 3D animation, MoCap data editing and basic Character Rigging
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferences:
Mocap + 3d Modelling+ Animation
Job Responsibilities:
Edit and refine motion capture data using Vicon Shogun Post.
Clean and correct errors in motion capture data within Vicon Shogun Post.
Set up characters for motion capture animation in MotionBuilder.
Retarget motion capture data to 3D models.
Animate characters with motion capture data and traditional keyframe animation techniques.
Collaborate with animators and artists to produce high-quality animations.
Utilize third-party and proprietary motion capture software and tools to process body and facial data.
Adhere to group standards and best practices.
Work effectively with the Art and Capture teams.
Manage daily development tasks, identify issues, and drive creative solutions to resolve them.
