About the Role


As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for actuarial products in alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs.

  • Gather, prioritize, and manage product requirements from various stakeholders, including clients, actuaries, business analysts, and technical teams.

  • Create and maintain a detailed product backlog, ensuring that user stories and acceptance criteria are well-defined and prioritized based on business value.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, development, design, and QA, to ensure successful product delivery.

  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.

  • Conduct regular backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning meetings to ensure the team is focused on the highest value features.

  • Review and accept completed user stories to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria and deliver the expected value.

  • Monitor and analyze product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Present product updates and progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product owners and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellenc

About You

  • 7+ years experience in product management or a similar role, preferably within the insurance industry with a focus on actuarial products.

  • Strong understanding of actuarial processes and principles within the Life Insurance industry.

  • Proven experience in defining and delivering successful actuarial products in a complex and dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders and teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

  • Experience with product lifecycle management and familiarity with product management tools and techniques.

  • Certification in Product Management (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Institute) is preferred.

  • Actuarial qualifications (e.g., ASA, FSA) are highly desirable.

  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills to guide and develop team members.

  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.

  • Demonstrates strong work ethics, commitment, and responsibility.

  • Adaptable and quick to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
