Atomic Arcade seeks an Associate Producer to support their AAA game development process. Responsibilities include tracking deliverables, managing team meetings, coordinating tasks and priorities, overseeing goal completion, building positive relationships, identifying process inefficiencies, and communicating effectively across teams. The role involves supporting senior producers, running planning meetings, and ensuring scheduled goals are met. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of game development experience (console and PC), proficiency in asset management tools (Flow, Jira, Confluence), and strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. The position requires collaboration with various departments and teams, and a passion for games is essential.

Atomic Arcade is a brand-new video game development studio located in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area led by industry veterans from AAA game and film studios. We are in the process of staffing up our development team with outstanding talent to build our first multi-platform, AAA game - a bold and contemporary new take on the GI JOE Universe starring the legendary character Snake Eyes! This is an excellent opportunity to not only build an outstanding AAA experience but to also help form the core foundations for the studio and team to build upon. We are looking for a skilled Associate Producer that will support our development process for our team to enable them to build and deliver AAA content and features for our game.

 

What You'll Do

  • Track deliverables through development pipelines.
  • Help manage multiple team meetings to track tasks, solve issues for team members, and prepare and manage team needs.
  • Support Senior production leaders by creating, maintaining and coordinating team tasks, backlogs and priorities.
  • Coordinate and run weekly/monthly planning and triage meetings.
  • Help oversee that scheduled goals are fulfilled to completion with the team.
  • Build trust and positive relationships across all teams.
  • Identify team and process inefficiencies and challenges to drive improvements.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple team and seniority levels.
  • Resolve problems, prioritize, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
  • Supervise existing pipelines to support clear and understood development goals.

 

What You Bring

  • 3 years of game development experience for both console and PC platforms.
  • An understanding of game content creation, tools and pipelines.
  • Proficiency with asset management tools, like Flow (Previously Shotgrid), Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to tackle hard project management problems and work with leads and team members to develop durable solutions as well as a passion for mentoring and making your team better.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to be a positive representative to support internal and external partner needs.
  • Strong experience in project planning, presentation, and documentation tools.
  • Ability to define and implement change from combined insights of production critical metrics and developer feedback to optimize production tools and processes
  • Strong understanding of various production models (Agile, Kanban, etc) and the helpful application of each
  • Experience with giving and receiving feedback.
  • Experience multi-tasking and adapting easily to change.
  • Passion for games.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented; must have the ability to interact and collaborate with all departments and teams.
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated, can perform duties with little guidance.

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $61,200.
  • Pay Range End: $113,600.
