About the job

SummaryBy Outscal

Senior Interactive Producer with 8+ years experience in project management and proven track record of released software products. Strong Agile knowledge, Jira/Confluence experience, and communication skills are must-haves.
We’re on a quest for a Senior Producer, who might have all the fancy training and certifications, who will maintain graceful control of project schedules, budgets, risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of complex productions that span software development, content creation, hardware integrations, and wild expectations. We want someone who will ‘own’ the project, someone to be a force multiplier, Someone who does not wait for action items to come to them, but truly drives every aspect of the process forward  (from behind).

For those of you still reading, you’ll be working with many other friendly, experienced producers, project managers, and coordinators working across several teams. You’ll be shepherding a talented team of clever and aspirational people to the Promised Land (with brief sight-seeing trips through the Valley of Chaos, the Cliffs of Insanity, and The Swamps of Despair). Your teammates have a passion for creating unique musical experiences and want to be inspired by you, nurtured by you, and least-importantly have their timecards approved by you.

If you’re excited about things that have never been done before, and are an experienced technical/creative producer with the skills to manage the development and launch of a challenging and groundbreaking project within its budget and schedule, then we want to work with you.

Magnopus's studio postings are made in advance of work anticipated to be awarded. Hires cannot be made until contracts are awarded. In some instances, contracts may not be awarded which could delay or preempt the interview process. We appreciate your patience.

    • Responsible for budgeting, scheduling and tracking development process
    • Proactively communicate and manage expectations with clients about all aspects of the project
    • Ability to craft and review SOW’s with a knack for accurately identifying anticipated project burn and scope
    • Lead day to day production of cross-disciplinary teams while also being able to see things from a ten thousand foot view
    • Manage multiple vendor relationships
    • Able to quickly and effectively provide project costings to the Business Development team

Requirements

    • 8+ years experience in project management with a proven track record of released software products and/or commercially-released games
    • Experience with music, musical events (live and virtual), musical culture, and an appreciation for the zeitgeist surrounding specific musical artists.
    • Expert knowledge and extensive experience in an Agile environment; Certified Scrum Master highly preferred
    • Expert knowledge and extensive experience working in Jira and Confluence
    • Not afraid to get “in the trenches” and be hands on while fostering a positive and creative environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct a team while promoting a positive morale in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
