Job Description

The Account Director will drive revenue growth by building strong relationships with agency partners and clients. They will manage a sales strategy, deliver innovative advertising solutions, and report to the Head of Sales. Responsibilities include managing a pipeline of business opportunities, building relationships across agency structures, identifying account growth opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams. The role requires a proactive sales leader passionate about digital media, ready to contribute to Teads' success.

About the opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic and driven Account Director to join our Sydney team and lead revenue growth by building strong relationships with agency partners and clients.

As a key member of our award-winning sales team, you’ll own your sales strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative advertising solutions that drive impact. You’ll report directly to the Head of Sales, ANZ, and play a critical role in shaping Teads’ presence across the region.

What will you do

  • Drive the expansion of Teads’ presence among strategic agencies and brands.
  • Proactively manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.  
  • Build and navigate relationships across complex agency structures, including trading desks, client leadership, data science, technology teams, and executives, while educating them on Teads’ solutions.  
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships, identifying opportunities for account growth post-onboarding.  
  • Develop a deep understanding of Teads’ value proposition and align it with the evolving needs of prospects and current clients.  
  • Maintain a disciplined and up-to-date sales pipeline to ensure accurate and predictable revenue forecasting.  
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including insights, customer experience, technical solutions, and enterprise to drive excellence and optimise client satisfaction.  

About You

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience of prospecting to media agencies and delivering success
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape and programmatic is a must
  • Strong networking ability and proven connections with major advertising agencies
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of ad-serving and tracking technologies
  • Proven track record of winning large accounts
  • A team player with the ability to learn quickly and a self-motivated starter.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve queries efficiently, to multitask, and communicate across teams
  • Entrepreneur and solution driven mentality
