The Advisor – Global Mobility Operations role at LSEG involves supporting global mobility operations. The role includes being the contact person for all regional immigration and mobility matters, providing support for people services globally, and resolving queries related to global mobility processes. Responsibilities include handling immigration compliance, managing vendors, recommending process improvements, and developing and maintaining mobility policies. The role requires strong immigration knowledge of APAC, EMEA, MENA, and AMERS. Also, assisting with budget preparation and ensuring proper tracking of assignment tax costs. The candidate is expected to manage day-to-day aspects of high-volume caseloads and proactively escalate issues.
Must have:
  • Experience in core Global Mobility, particularly in Immigration.
  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow or other HRIS tools.
  • Good understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Strong analytic, consultative, and collaboration skills.

Role Profile

Reporting to the Global Mobility Lead within People Operations. Responsible for supporting people services globally across LSEG. Delivers excellence in Global Mobility processes and services, resolve queries and provides information and systems administration support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Be the Global Mobility contact person for all regional immigration and mobility matters. 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for people leaders and colleagues on Global Mobility policies, processes, and procedures via Service Now (case management tool), triage/call out cases to relevant subject matter expert groups as needed and ensure all queries are responded to accurately and within defined SLAs
  • Strong Immigration Knowledge on APAC, EMEA, MENA and AMERS
  • Understand international assignment and international transfer processes and support business units.
  • Responsible for Immigration compliance for regional cases specifically managing all aspects tracking cases, visa expiries in partnership with our external vendors.
  • Provide recommendations to mobility colleagues on immigration issues.
  • Assist with the budget preparation process and ensure all assignment tax costs are adequately tracked and accounted for on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with management of the third party vendors, review of KPI.s SLA and monthly invoices as applicable.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Pro-actively input into & help develop, implement and maintain mobility policy and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance the employee experience, and optimize the effectiveness of global mobility programs.
  • Independently manage day-to-day aspects of high-volume caseload and proactively escalate 
  • Track and monitor critical deadlines and appropriately prioritize caseload
  • Support and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members, consultants
  • Hands on experience on cross border working with minimal intervention of Immigration Service provider

Qualification and Experience:

- Bachelors or Masters or equivalent experience in Human Resource Management.

- 6 to 8 years of prior in core Global Mobility, particularly in areas relating to Immigration and International Assignment life cycle management

- Prior experience with Workday and ServiceNow or other HRIS and case management tools is essential.

- Good understanding of HR policies and procedures, with experience of providing advice on intricate transactional HR issues to employees and line managers

- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to defined processes and procedures

- Excellent attention to detail and process orientation.

- Strong analytic, consultative, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint, and Outlook and working to experienced knowledge of Excel

- Detail oriented individual with excellent follow through and communication skills 

- Ability to work under stress and to tight turn around timelines.

- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to new and changing priorities

- Innovative, client delivery focused problem solver who is solutions oriented 

- Is resourceful and able to optimally navigate through a highly matrixed, global organization 

- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
