Vogue is seeking a strategic and creative Associate Manager of Audience Engagement to help grow its audience, particularly through newsletters and other owned channels. This role is crucial for scaling newsletter reach and performance, tailoring content distribution strategies based on data-driven insights, and ensuring impactful reach of key global stories across various markets. The successful candidate will surface meaningful insights from historical and real-time data to guide content, platform, and distribution strategies, helping the team stay ahead in an evolving digital landscape.
Must have:
  • Support UK audience team in the development of its newsletter portfolio with a specific focus on acquisition and engagement.
  • Aid in the production and execution of newsletters through Vogue’s proprietary CMS and email service providers like Sailthru and other ESPs.
  • Develop actionable insights from A/B tests, quantitative and qualitative research that can be applied to support all Vogue market newsletters and serve as POC for distribution of these insights globally.
  • Work closely with Senior Manager of Audience Development in the UK to develop strategies focused on growing direct audiences.
  • Partner with global editorial teams to develop and refine content distribution strategies that amplify key stories across owned channels.
  • Use audience data to provide tailored content recommendations for different markets and platforms.
  • Provide strategic audience development support to markets with limited local resources.
  • Develop toolkits, frameworks, and best practices that can be localized and reused across regions.
  • Act as a liaison to ensure these markets benefit from global initiatives and opportunities.

The Role

Vogue is seeking a strategic and creative Associate Manager of Audience Engagement to help grow our audience with a particular focus on newsletters and other owned channels. This role will play a critical part in scaling our newsletter reach and performance, tailoring content distribution strategies based on data-driven insights, and ensuring impactful reach of key global stories across various markets.

In this role, you will surface meaningful insights from historical and real-time data to guide content, platform, and distribution strategies. From uncovering emerging content trends to advising on newsletter, and social strategies, you will help the team stay ahead in an ever-evolving digital landscape. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and solutions-oriented—someone who knows how to ask the right questions, uncover patterns, and inspire teams to act on what they learn.

What will you be doing?

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in publishing; editorial or audience development familiarity preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional experience creating, optimizing, and adapting content for platforms including websites, newsletters, video, and social media platforms
  • Experience with publishing and analytics tools, such as SocialFlow, CrowdTangle, Facebook Insights, Parse.ly, and Google Analytics
  • A sense of humor and keenness to adapt to a changing media landscape and find audiences in new ways
  • An understanding of Vogue’s voice and sensibility
