We are looking for a Manager, Business Strategy, to join our Business Strategy team reporting to the senior director of Business Strategy. In this remote role, you will have a bird’s eye view of the company and develop ideas on how to grow, be more efficient, and take strategic initiatives from idea to execution. You will drive research, analytics, ideation and business planning. As you grow your knowledge about our products, go-to-market strategy, and operations, you will develop ideas on how to leverage our data to come up with strategic initiatives. The Business Strategy team also manages the relationship with our Board of Directors, which will enable you to understand our key priorities and support them accordingly. 

You are the ideal candidate if you have prior experience in business consulting or strategic advisory roles at a networking, or cybersecurity company. You are a strategic thinker who is data driven, organized, and disciplined. You enjoy solving problems, can operate independently while collaborating across teams, and are driven to achieve results.

What you’ll do:  

  • Assist senior team members in identifying gaps within the company's business operations, particularly in cybersecurity and networking, and contribute ideas to address them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that improve Infoblox’s offerings
  • Work with the Business Strategy team to help develop business cases for new initiatives and present them to stakeholders for approval
  • Help implement strategic programs by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and reporting on key milestones
  • Research external market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity and networking to provide insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Develop your knowledge of the company’s products, industry trends, and strategies, while contributing fresh ideas to support growth and innovation

What you’ll bring:  

  • 10+ years of business experience in a strategic role, with demonstrated leadership across multiple functions; experience in the networking, cloud or Cybersecurity industry is required 
  • Knowledge of key emerging trends and strategic mindset, security's convergence with networking and cloud withing the Enterprise space
  • Prior experience in business consulting or strategic advisory roles at networking, or cybersecurity companies 
  • Solid technical foundation and experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud operations environment
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to dissect complex business problems and translate them into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to build relationships across various departments, including CXOs, and align multiple leaders on shared goals
  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to pivot and adjust strategies as needed
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders effectively
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE) or Electrical Engineering (EE) plus MBA 

What success looks like:  

After six months, you will…

  • Build trusted relationships with the executive staff
  • Understand company data and capabilities
  • Develop an idea to execute and drive small projects with successful milestones 

After about a year, you will…

  • Drive large, cross-functional programs and work with executive sponsors independently to execute
  • Be a trusted partner to the chief of staff and the executive staff

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our compensation philosophy. At Infoblox, we believe in paying for performance. You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position is $130,500 - $195,050 plus corporate bonus.
