Job Description

As part of the Network team, you are responsible for managing all physical and virtual connections that connect both customer and internal systems.

Additionally, a significant part of our security measures falls under the Network Team's responsibility.

  • You will handle the segmentation of customer and internal systems and protect them against unwanted access.
  • As a Network Consultant (m/f/d) you plan and execute network activities:
    • Firewall administration and updates
    • Firewall ports opening
    • IPSEC VPNs phase-in / phase-out
    • Day-to-day business: service requests and incident tickets
    • Loss of connectivity troubleshooting
  • We operate our own infrastructure and focus on those vendors and solutions: CheckPoint, Juniper SRX, Cisco ACI, Arista, Citrix ADC / Netscaler, IBM qRadar

Qualifications

  • You have an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a degree in informatics.
  • You have professional experience as a network or security specialist (m/f/d).
  • You have relevant knowledge in one or more similar solutions and are interested in working with the following products or technologies: Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki, Arista, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint ClusterXL, Checkpoint VSX, Citrix ADC, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Python, CheckMK, IBM qRadar.
  • You are fluent in German (min. B2) and English (B2).
