We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team, supporting various data science initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data science methodologies and be eager to apply their skills to solve real-world business problems. This role involves working closely with senior team members to develop and implement machine learning models, analyze data, and contribute to AI-driven insights. Reporting to Senior Manager, Data Science. You will be responsible for:

Support the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms, with a focus on generative AI.
Assist in conducting research and development in areas such as generative AI, predictive analytics, and other emerging technologies.
Collaborate with team members to integrate AI/ML technologies into Zscaler's solutions.
Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis to extract actionable insights.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A passion for learning and developing new skills in data science and AI/ML technologies.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

0-2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role.
Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus. Understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques

What We're Looking for (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and statistical analysis.
Understanding of data engineering principles for efficient data handling.
