Job Description
To succeed in this role, the Presentation Specialist must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a conceptual thinker, creative, eloquent and can understand and convey a variety of concepts. Outstanding execution and organization skills combined with excellent judgment and outstanding ethics and values are imperative. Under supervision, the Presentation Specialist will provide leverage across the following responsibilities:
- Assist investment professionals with formatting, design and visual presentation aspects of marketing materials and presentations in conformance with firm branding standards. This includes but is not limited to PowerPoint decks, white papers, factsheets, RFPs, advertisements and newsletters.
- Provide support with other dynamic content and graphics-intensive initiatives such as logos, employee photos and special conceptual design projects
- The Presentation Specialist provides ongoing support to the Senior Website Designer on website imagery and design improvements as well as content edits (CMS, HTML) for all Ares websites.
- Provide backup assistance for the Creative Solutions Lead Coordinator with the work requests queue and additional workflow coordination.
- The Presentation Specialist may, over time, additionally provide support on other dynamic content and graphics-intensive initiatives, such as podcasts, animation and videos.
Experience Required
- Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- PowerPoint and MS Word template design and standardization best-practices
- Acrobat Pro
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). After Effects, Premiere, Audition and Adobe XD experience preferred.
- HTML or other coding experience preferred
Qualifications
Education:
- College degree in Graphics Design or a related degree is preferred
- 3-4 years of minimum work experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry
