Job Description
Xsolla seeks a Database Administrator to manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, focusing on performance tuning, replication, high availability, and partitioning/sharding. The role involves assisting development teams with database-related tasks, troubleshooting, and optimizing solutions. Ideal candidates possess at least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator with extensive experience in at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, along with strong SQL skills (DDL, DML, DCL). Experience with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions and Linux is also required.
Must have:
- 3+ years DBA experience
- MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB expertise
- Strong SQL skills (DDL, DML, DCL)
- RDBMS/NoSQL experience
- Linux experience
- Performance tuning

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Performance tuning
- Implement and manage replication, high availability, partitioning / sharding
- Assistance to development teams in creating, optimising and solving problems regarding to RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Troubleshooting
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Extensive experience at least with one of MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
- Extensive experience with SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
- Experience with other types of RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
- Experience with Linux
