We are looking for an experienced people leader who is passionate about driving software and game quality to lead an Open World game at Electronic Arts.
You will provide operational leadership for the Quality Verification (QV) department, comprising of management, quality design, engineering, and analytics.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Manage planning in all development stages from pre-production, production, launch, and live services.
- Scope and Capacity Management across QV.
- Overall Open World project risk management and reporting.
- Create scenarios and guide the decision-making process for our Open World Title.
- Improve operational effectiveness of team effort by assessing current practices, incorporating new strategies, and increasing predictability.
- Effective change management. Change is welcomed as an opportunity to drive strategic, business-impacting change.
Your primary People Management responsibilities will be:
- Mentor and support other leaders across all disciplines; build and mentor teams.
- Identify resourcing needs, guide and develop changes to talent, skills and practices to accomplish operational and strategic goals.
- Coordinate talent management and succession planning.
- Monitor and evolve talent skill mix, using training and active recruitment plans and strategies.
- Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion
Experiences and Capabilities:
- 3+ years of applicable Open World games work experience.
- 5+ years of project management or team leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing people, including managing managers.
- 3+ years of experience leading and growing teams building Open World games.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Understand software quality assurance and software development lifecycle practices.
- Education requirement: University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

º $140,700 - $204,700 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $125,300 - $204,700 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $164,800 - $204,700 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $131,000 - $174,800 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $125,300 - $198,100 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
