The ERP lead specialist will analyze current production processes, configure and implement the Production Module within the ERP system, and design production planning and scheduling processes. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise on manufacturing resource planning, creating documentation, conducting training, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The candidate will also participate in testing and support go-live activities. Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Production modules in ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations
  • Experience with at least one major ERP system
  • Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Professional certification in relevant ERP system
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with production scheduling optimization
  • Understanding of quality management systems
  • Project management experience or certification

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP specialist specializing in Production Module implementation to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on production planning, manufacturing execution, and related processes within our ERP system, helping to optimize operations and drive business value.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement through ERP implementation
  • Configure and implement the Production Module of our ERP system according to business requirements
  • Design and develop production planning, scheduling, and execution processes within the ERP system
  • Provide technical expertise on manufacturing resource planning, capacity planning, and shop floor control
  • Create and maintain documentation for production-related ERP processes and configurations
  • Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials for production staff
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production module issues and provide ongoing support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration between production and other ERP modules
  • Participate in testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation support

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring Production/Manufacturing modules in ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop floor operations
  • Experience with at least one major ERP system (1C, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Preferred

  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Professional certification in relevant ERP system
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with production scheduling optimization
  • Understanding of quality management systems
  • Project management experience or certification
  • Experience in our specific industry sector
