Job Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will develop and maintain test automation management plans and scripts for business applications, ensuring the test automation management tools' software lifecycle remains current. Responsibilities include preparing test cases, cycles, and environments; serving as the focal point for business testing needs; and managing stakeholders. You'll collaborate across organizational boundaries and work closely with customers, stakeholders, and peers. The role requires a deep understanding of software development best practices, including SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Experience with DevOps tools and integration with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Must have:

5-8 years in automation testing
UFT experience
Test automation, framework design, planning & development
Functional & automation activities management
DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, GIT, SonarQube, Jira)
Testing tools (Zephyr, Selenium)
Unit & integration testing
VB programming (Perl, Unix, Groovy a plus)
SDLC, configuration management, Agile, Scrum, Kanban

Good to have:

Murex system experience
Murex E-trade pad layout automation
DevOps & CI/CD integration
Excellent communication skills

You will be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains Test Automation management plans and scripts for business applications, Ensures that Test Automation management tools software lifecycle is current.

Prepare the test Cases, test cycles & test environment

Be the focal point of contact for Business testing needs

Stakeholder management

work collaboratively across organizational boundaries and build strong working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

Skills

Must have

At least 5 – 8 years of experience in Automation testing

Good Experience in Test Automation, Test Framework Design, Planning & Development

UFT

Good Experience in managing Functional and Test Automation activities

Working Knowledge with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Dockers, GIT, SonarQube, Jira

Working Knowledge with testing tools such as Zephyr, Selenium

Experience in Unit Tests, Integration Test techniques & implementation experience

Experience with programming language in VB is mandatory. Other languages like Perl, Unix, and Groovy are good to have.

Understanding of software development best practices including SDLC, Software Configuration and Change Management, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.

Preferably to have experience in integration with DevOps & CI/CD.

Nice to have

Experience in Murex System.

Good understanding of Murex and its subsystems.

Automation experience on Murex E-trade pad layout.

Excellent Communication Skills
