Summary

The FP&A Director at Aristocrat Interactive will oversee financial governance, strategic planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering. Responsibilities include developing the Long Range Plan, annual budget, and ongoing forecasts; preparing financial reports for management, Group finance, and Investor Relations; designing and implementing dashboards and KPIs; and leading KPI meetings. The role requires solving complex business problems through analytics, partnering with stakeholders, creating financial infrastructure, and evaluating business opportunities (M&A, investments). The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in finance and commercial support roles, strong analytical and modeling skills, experience with relevant systems (Excel, TM1, Anaplan, D365), and exceptional project and people management skills. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and requires proactive communication and priority management in a fast-paced environment.

The Director of FP&A will be responsible for financial oversight and governance of the Aristocrat Interactive business, financial strategic planning and forecasting, central reporting, business partnering with Aristocrat Interactive Corp leaders and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
The role may also support investment business cases and will plays a lead financial governance and oversight role in supporting the Aristocrat Interactive organization.
The role will report to Vice President of Finance and will lead a small-mid sized team.
The ability to support critical decision-making with ad-hoc analyses support or more robust intensive evaluations will be key in this role.
The role will involve cross-functional collaboration, white-boarding and brainstorming through complex issues, and the development of robust financial analyses to help guide decision-making across the organization.
Candidates will have the judgement and maturity to communicate proactively around challenges, and key decisions, and will be skilled at managing competing priorities.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally to encourage and instill data-driven decision making across the organization. Look for efficiency opportunties as the business scales. 
  • Lead the company’s short and long term operational and financial forecasting including development of Long Range Plan, annual budget and ongoing forecasting 
  • Prepare business and financial reports to support Aristocrat Interactive management, Group finance and Investor relations
  • Contirbute to the design and implementation of dashboards and KPIs. Lead weekly & monthly KPI meetings with key stakeholders across the org to discuss progress against performance goals, identifying risks and opportunities whilst proactively providing financial insights and analysis.  
  • Solve complex business problems through the use of analytics and business judgment in partnering with stakeholders in other areas of the organization to drive effective decision-making
  • Create financial infrastructure and cost center governance to enable reporting standardization in line with best practices and Aristocrat standards. 
  • Business partner with Design & Development leader and other key central cost budget holders to help manage and prioritise spend across the organisation
  • Evaluate and support on a wide range of business opportunities including M&A, market expansion, investments and other strategic options

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in related finance and commercial support roles. Some prior experience in technology-led and listed businesses a plus
  • Superior analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities
  • Strong technical skills with relevant systems/programs including Excel, Tm1, Anaplan, D365. 
  • Exceptional project and people management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks with a proven ability to meet hard deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment, preferably with experience within multi-territory and multi-division global organisations
