Gamemano is a leading innovator in the gaming industry, dedicated to creating engaging and high-quality gaming experiences. We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our talented engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge casino and slot games.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of engineering staff.

Technical Strategy & Development:

• Define and implement the technical vision and roadmap for game development, focusing on casino and slot games.
• Ensure best practices in software development, architecture, and project management are adhered to.

Unity & Game Development:

• Leverage 7+ years of experience in Unity to guide the team in developing engaging game mechanics and features.
• Collaborate with design and art teams to create seamless gameplay experiences.

Mathematics & Game Mechanics:

• Utilize your expertise in mathematical concepts to design and optimize game algorithms, ensuring fairness and engagement.
• Collaborate with game designers to create innovative and captivating game mechanics.

Project Management:

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Implement agile methodologies to enhance productivity and responsiveness.

Quality Assurance:

• Establish and maintain high-quality standards for all engineering outputs, including code reviews and testing protocols.
• Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve issues during the development process.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer support.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, technical challenges, and resource needs.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 8+ years of overall experience in software engineering, with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
• 6+ years of experience in slot game development and 6+ years in casino game development.
• Strong proficiency in Unity with 7+ years of hands-on experience.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player engagement strategies.
• Strong mathematical skills related to game development, including probability and statistics.

Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Communication:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
