Now we are looking for experts in image pipeline to join us to build our AR/VR imaging team. Responsibilities · Define and drive display silicon and EE architecture for VR/AR display system · Work closely with display driver IC, panel and module vendor and internal teams to define specs for panel, display driver IC, PMIC and calibration procedure · Analyze pros/cons of display functions, IPs and display interface, and propose optimum design for graphics IPs and high bandwidth interface. · Bring up new VR/AR display prototype system to evaluate new display technologies · Explore new technology and pathfinding for apply new technologies in the product to enhance VR/AR experience
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor or above degree in EE, CS or relevant fields with experience in display electrical subsystem design, bring-up and system integration · Experience in display electrical interface standards, and display protocols with system · Understanding of display power management and power consumption breakdown of each sub-component · Knowledge and experience with metrics of image quality and characterization techniques · Familiar with common display silicon IP and image processing IP for compensating panel performance · Experience with analog/digital circuit design (IC and/or PCB), simulation, test and analysis · Demonstrate creativity in problem solving, ability to think out-of-box, and come up to speed quickly in new technical areas Preferred Qualifications · Experience with top level chip architecture, design and integration. · Understanding of the mixed signal IC design, fabrication and validation procedure. · Experience modeling with Spectre/Spice/VerilogA/MATLAB/Verilog at circuit and block level to optimize for cost and power. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $410000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
