The Insight Specialist at Google's gTech Ads will work with Analytical Leads and Account Executives to deliver data-driven insights and narratives to enhance Google's media solutions sales. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, creating compelling storylines to drive client business objectives, building insight and measurement tools for customer presentations, and simplifying complex data for easy understanding. The role requires expertise in data analysis, visualization, and presentation, along with experience in digital marketing and advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, enabling them to translate complex data into actionable insights for clients.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in digital media/advertising
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, visualization
  • Proficient in analytical and narrative tools
  • Data wrangling and automation experience
Good to have:
  • Client-facing data analytics or consulting experience
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Javascript, Python)
  • Experience with automation techniques

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring digital advertising campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • Experience with SQL, Data Analysis, Data Visualization.
  • Experience working with analytical and narrative tools such as spreadsheets, presentation-software, tableau, data-studio, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with automation techniques.
  • Experience in a client-facing data analytics role or in consulting.
  • Experience of working with datasets.
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Javascript, Apps Script, R, Python, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Work with Analytical Leads and Account Executives to enable compelling, integrated, research-based insights and narratives to enhance Google's ability to sell relevant media solutions to clients.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets, through automation and data wrangling, converting them into strategic insights and compelling storylines in order to drive Customer business objectives and enable client decisions.
  • Build insight and measurement tools to add relevant, trustworthy data to customer presentations and proposals.
  • Make complex data sets and concepts simple and easy to understand.
