Summary of Position

The MPG Production & Development team is seeking summer interns. This position requires a talented and focused individual who will handle a variety of tasks such as script coverage, research, and administrative tasks to support 2 junior executives in the creative workflow of internal projects and submissions. Experience with script coverage and research is highly preferred. Candidates should have serious interests in pursuing a career track as a film executive. 

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and filing of creative documents
  • Contribute with creative tasks
  • Read scripts and books to provide coverage for material
  • Participate in brainstorms and thought exercises on film packages 
  • Research and present a semester-long research project 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Voracious reader
  • Strong interest in being a film executive
  • Effective time management skills

The Lionsgate Internship Program is designed to identify, recruit, and develop a diverse group of students that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities.

Details

  • Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
  • Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
