ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity to join the Trading Team in the supporting role of Junior Buyer. The key purpose of a Junior Buyer is to support and help deliver, maintain, and grow our digital games offer. If you thrive in a fast paced and changing landscape of Digital Video Games, we want to hear from you!

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Build relationships and manage a selection of Tier 2-4 publishers, including new release, campaign, stock management and day to day negotiations
• Preparation of site merchandising actions (Daily changes, creating merchandising opportunities)
• Become a subject matter expert on key internal processes / mechanics to aid the best synergies across the business
• Provide support to the senior members of the trading team
• Internal project ownership (i.e. Bundles)
• Delivery of publisher requests (i.e. Reporting)

• Strong relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks to a high standard
• High level of attention to detail
• Manage time effectively by setting and achieving priorities and timescales.
• Proactive approach to work
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Good problem-solving skills and can take initiative to resolve issues

Experience:

• eCommerce trading or merchandising
• Experience of stakeholder management
• Within a fast-paced retailer, industry or business

Nice to have:

• An interest in the entertainment industry, ideally Video Games!
• Previous Video Games industry experience (Ideal but not essential)
