We are looking for a Lead Accounting Systems Analyst to join our Accounting team. This position will be responsible for owning the integrity, automation, and optimization of our financial systems to support accurate reporting and scalable growth. This is a high-impact role with broad visibility and strong cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency, accuracy, and process improvements across the organization.
The Job…
- Process Optimization & Automation: Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and artificial intelligence uses across NetSuite, FloQast, Zuora, Airbase, and Adaptive to increase efficiency, security, and compliance.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Manage preparation of the month-end financial package including key dashboards and insights. Contribute to quarterly external reporting deliverables. Assist with variance analyses to ensure leadership has accurate financial insights.
- System Enhancements & Maintenance: Provide day-to-day support for NetSuite, FloQast, Zuora, Airbase, and Adaptive, ensuring system functionality, performance, and security. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors as needed. Lead system enhancement projects, including scoping, configuration, testing, and deployment. Manage integrations between systems to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy. Proactively explore and implement new system functionality updates, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, IT, and other departments to align on process requirements, gather feedback, and develop solutions that meet cross-departmental needs. Serve as the accounting systems expert to support business initiatives.
- Data Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure data integrity across financial systems through regular reviews and reconciliations. Support the month-end close process and other accounting functions by maintaining accurate and reliable data flows.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Design, document, and implement internal controls (ITGCs) for financial systems to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity. Regularly assess control effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Process Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, workflows, and internal controls. Develop training materials and lead sessions to educate users on system functionalities and best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- CPA preferred; Experience at a Big Four Firm a plus.
- 5+ years combined experience in accounting systems analysis, ERP support, or financial systems administration.
- Interest in technology advancements and excitement for driving new system solutions.
- Hands-on experience with financial systems, including system configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting. NetSuite, FloQast, Zuora, Airbase, and Adaptive experience preferred.
- Experience preparing financial statements and performing variance analysis.
- Solid understanding of IT general controls (ITGCs), internal controls, and compliance within financial systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $113,000-$138,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
