Job Description

The Licensing Analyst will be responsible for optimizing software use and ensuring compliance. They will manage relationships with software vendors, handle contract renewals, and assist with software asset management (SAM) including ordering, tracking, optimization, and rebilling of software assets. The analyst will conduct and analyze software inventory results, examine license terms, maintain a knowledge base on software licensing, support software procurement, monitor software compliance, and support employees with licensing issues. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of IT technologies and processes, and experience in software licensing, SAM, IT consulting, IT procurement, or technical support.

Must have:

Advanced English skills for interpreting licensing documentation and communication
Excellent analytical skills
Understanding of key IT technologies and processes
Experience with software licensing, SAM, IT consulting, IT procurement or technical support

Good to have:

Knowledge of licensing policies for vendors like Microsoft, Broadcom, Adobe
Experience with SAM and ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow SAM/HAM Pro
Understanding of IT infrastructure, software architecture, and deployment methodologies
Familiarity with various types of software/services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
Negotiation and contract management skills

Your tasks will include:

Manage relationships with software vendors and handle contract renewals
Assist the company’s SAM function to ensure proper ordering, tracking, optimization and rebilling of software assets
Conduct and analyze software inventory results
Examine license terms and maintain a knowledge base on software licensing
Support software procurement by reviewing contracts and handling internal order processing
Monitor software compliance and address compliance issues
Support our employees and IT infrastructure in the context of licensing: monitor software deployment, analyze requirements, find suitable licensing solution
