Job Description
NOVOMATIC Technologies Poland is seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for developing, training, and implementing advanced machine learning models to create and optimize AI-powered solutions. This includes everything from data acquisition and processing to model implementation and deployment. You will collaborate with other teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AI/ML techniques and frameworks, knowledge of MLOps best practices, experience with large-scale data processing, and a passion for coding and applying software engineering principles to machine learning projects.
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
- Strong Software Engineering skills
- Experience working with various programming languages
- Experience developing software products deployed to production
- Understanding of AI/ML techniques and frameworks
- Knowledge of MLOps best practices
- Knowledge of LLM Evaluation
- Knowledge of LLM RAG
- Comfortable working with large-scale data
- Solid grasp of data structures, databases, and storage technologies
- Passion for hands-on coding
- Enjoy working in an agile environment
- Utilize data-driven development and experimentation

Description
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join NOVOMATIC Technologies Poland. You’ll be responsible for developing and deploying innovative AI-powered solutions that drive business growth.
What you'll be doing?
- Developing, training and implementing advanced machine learning models
- Creating and optimizing machine learning solutions, from data acquisition to model implementation
- Processing and managing large datasets
- Collaborating with other teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Your qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
- Strong Software Engineering skills, with experience working with various programming languages and a good grasp of at least one language, ideally Python (5+ years)
- Experience developing software products that have been successfully deployed to production
- A strong understanding of AI/ML techniques and frameworks
- Knowledge of MLOps best practices, including building ML pipelines and deploying applications to production
- Knowledge of LLM Evaluation - knowledge and experience in evaluating large language models for alignment, safety, and applicability
- Knowledge of LLM RAG - how to provide data structure, vectorized DB, hallucination recognition, confidence scoring
- Comfortable working with large-scale data (batch and streaming) and a solid grasp of data structures, databases, and storage technologies
- Passion for hands-on coding and applying software engineering practices to machine learning projects
- Enjoy working in an agile environment, collaborating with teams, and utilizing data-driven development and experimentation
