At the Trek Performance factory, we build the customers’ dream bikes that inspire adventure, freedom, and the sheer joy of the ride. As a Master Mechanic, you'll play a key role in ensuring every bike meets our high standards for speed and quality. We’re all about precision – you’ll be responsible for assembling, tuning, and adjusting bikes with flawless accuracy. In the role, you will have the opportunity to work on both Project One custom bikes and built-to-stock Trek bikes.

We’re looking for individuals with advanced technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a can-do attitude to match. This is a full-time mechanic opportunity that also has the potential to be customer facing when our customers come to pick up their Project One dream bicycle. You will be wrenching on bikes with some of the best mechanics in the country while helping to get more people on bikes every day. What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience assembling a wide range of bikes—from kids' bikes to top-of-the-line mountain, road, and e-bikes.
  • A founder’s mentality with a passion for teamwork and a positive attitude that lifts up those around you.
  • A dedication to delivering incredible hospitality - listening, caring, and always being ready to help, no matter how busy the day gets.
  • An eye for detail and a love for finding solutions—whether it’s troubleshooting or fine-tuning a bike until it's perfect for our customers and retail partners.
  • A hunger to keep learning, growing your skills, and staying up to date on the latest technologies and service techniques.
  • Bike shop or bike assembly experience

Areas you’ll own:

  • Completing the final assembly, tuning, and adjustment of a full spectrum of Project One bikes.
  • Troubleshooting and updating e-bike systems and software.
  • Stepping in wherever needed to help us meet our goals and deliver outstanding service.
  • Option to ride and interact with Project One customers when they pick up their bike

Your schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 6am – 2pm

Compensation:

  • $26-30 per hour based on technical experience level
  • Relocation package available based on location
