The Director of Internal Communications at Playtika will develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and values. This role involves leading a team, managing internal communication channels, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring employees feel connected and engaged. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team management, campaign development, channel optimization, cross-team collaboration, guideline creation, impact measurement, and change management support. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, proven experience managing teams, and a passion for fostering strong employee engagement within a global organization.

Role Overview

Playtika’s Director of Internal Communications is a cornerstone of how we connect employees to our cheetah culture and dynamic business In this influential role, you’ll craft and execute strategies that engage, inspire, and unify our global teams.

You’ll lead a talented Internal Communications team, aligning communication efforts with business objectives to amplify our culture, values, and strategy. Your work will ensure every team member feels informed, connected, and proud to be part of Playtika’s journey.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders and teams across the organization, transforming internal communications into a strategic force that drives measurable impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Communication Planning - Develop and Execute Strategy:
    • Lead and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with Playtika’s business objectives and values.
    • Collaborate with leadership to craft messaging that supports organizational change, business updates, and employee engagement initiatives.
  2. Lead the Internal Communications Team:
    • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of internal communications professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative, creative, passionate and results-driven environment.
  3. Inspire and Engage Employees:
    • lead compelling campaigns and initiatives that foster a sense of belonging, pride, and connection among employees.
    • Ensure messaging resonates with diverse teams across multiple geographies.
  4. Optimize Communication Channels:
    • Develop and manage internal communication channels (e.g.,Playtispace, newsletters, all hands, teams etc.) to ensure effective delivery of information.
    • Streamline and optimize channels to reduce noise and ensure clarity, helping employees focus on the most relevant and impactful messages.
  5. Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Partner with senior leaders, HR, and other departments to ensure consistent and impactful messaging and collaboration
    • Be a key player in broader communications efforts, including crisis communications, change management, and company-wide announcements.
  6. Establish Guidelines and Educate Teams:
    • Create and implement internal communications guidelines, including tone of voice and messaging standards.
    • Act as a communications educator across the organization, empowering teams and leaders to communicate effectively while staying aligned with Playtika’s brand and values.
  7. Drive Impactful Results:
    • Continuously assess the impact of communication strategies and campaigns through metrics and feedback.
    • Use insights to refine approaches, ensuring measurable improvement in employee engagement and connection.
  8. Promote Change and Transformation:
    • Support leadership in driving organizational change through transparent, empathetic, and consistent communication.
    • Act as a trusted advisor during periods of transformation to help employees/leadership navigate and adapt effectively.
  9. Stay Ahead of Trends:
    • Bring in innovative ideas and best practices to keep Playtika’s internal communications fresh, relevant, and engaging.
    • Experiment with new tools, platforms, and formats to enhance communication effectiveness.
  10. Be the Voice of the Employees:
    • Act as a bridge between employees and leadership, ensuring employee voices and feedback are considered in decision-making processes.

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications, ideally in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills with a strong ability to simplify complex messaging.
  • Proven experience in managing a communication team/position
  • Proven expertise in managing internal channels and events.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to address organizational needs/gaps through communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • A true leader - Integrity, presence, and assertiveness in leadership. Elevating your team and driving impactful results.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Hebrew is a plus.
