Motion Graphics Designer

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re currently seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer for a global mass media company to join their Creative Team. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days per week in the office at the company’s NYC headquarters.

As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing dynamic motion graphics and digital assets. Your designs will bring concepts to life for paid social media campaigns, email marketing, and websites, all while ensuring consistency with brand standards and best practices. This is a 3-month contract opportunity, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop motion graphics, animations, and videos for paid social media, email, and web content.
• Ensure visuals, messaging, and interactive elements are aligned with brand standards.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team, providing regular updates on project timelines and progress.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in motion design and animation.
• Strong understanding of digital creative requirements for social media advertising.
• Knowledge of direct response best practices and how design influences consumer action.
• Proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, G Suite, and Basecamp (or similar project management tools).
• Experience with still photography and video assets is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A portfolio showcasing recent motion design work.

Note: To qualify for benefits, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of your assignment must be at least 10 weeks.
