As a key contributor, this role focuses on optimizing workflows to minimize workload and human errors in product planning. Responsibilities include establishing communication with global entities, ensuring seamless integration of international processes, and providing essential data to the RPM/Planning Office. Tasks include database maintenance, ensuring accuracy in internal systems, and extracting data through dashboards for informed decision-making. The job requires creating and ensuring accuracy of the PIG, understanding competitor models, maintaining templates, and managing internal systems. This role supports the digitalization of regional tools and processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy within the automotive sector.
Must have:
  • Create and ensure accuracy of the PIG for assigned model lines.
  • Understand Nissan internal documents and accurately reflect specs into the PIG.
  • Research and understand the specific differences between competitors and Nissan/Infiniti models.
  • Update the templates with the latest Price Reference Table (PRT).
  • Research and understand the life cycle calendar for main competitors and reflect on landscape template every so often.
  • Create and maintain updated the different templates in the area (PVC/BBC).
  • Understand spec list (vehicle specification) changes requested by RPM and accurately reflect them into the system.
  • Create and ensure accuracy of the system based on PIG.
  • End Item Model (EIM) codification into the systems according to PIG.
Good to have:
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry or Program Management background in other Industry.
  • Experience in planning departments, product marketing, market intelligence or similar.
  • Solid experience in: Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge (macros & database)
  • VBA / SQL programming / Database management

As a key contributor to the digitalization of regional tools and processes, this role focuses on optimizing workflows to minimize workload and human errors. It requires establishing strong communication channels with global entities to ensure the seamless integration of internationally available processes and systems into the regional framework. Additionally, the position serves as a reliable source of information by obtaining and providing essential data to and from the RPM/Planning Office. Responsibilities include periodic database maintenance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in Nissan’s internal systems within the Product Planning scope, as well as extracting and presenting critical data through various dashboards to support informed decision-making Job Responsibilities
  • Product Information Guide (PIG)

    • Create and ensure accuracy of the PIG for assigned model lines
    • Understand Nissan internal documents and accurately reflect specs into the PIG
    • End Item Model (EIM) codification into the PIG according to grade walk strategy
    • Uploading and cross check accuracy into Nissan Internal systems accordingly (G-SIS)
  • Competitiveness (PVC/Auto planner)

    • Research and understand the specific differences between competitors and Nissan/Infiniti models
    • Update the templates with the latest Price Reference Table (PRT)
  • Landscape

    • Research and understand the life cycle calendar for main competitors and reflect on landscape template every so often
  • Excel internal tools (PVC / Bubble Charts / Landscape)

    • Create and maintain updated the different templates in the area (PVC/BBC)
    • Create the share point and maintain the site updated with the latest official information
  • Nissan Internal systems management

    • Understand spec list (vehicle specification) changes requested by RPM and accurately reflect them into the system
    • Create and ensure accuracy of the system based on PIG
    • End Item Model (EIM) codification into the systems according to PIG.

Qualifications

Years of Experience

  • Desirable as a plus 1 - 3 years in the Automotive Industry or Program Management background in other Industry.
  • Desired experience in planning departments, product marketing, market intelligence or similar.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree: Engineering (IT, Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical) or related field
  • Languages: Advanced English Level as must (TOEIC: min 700p / TOEFL IBT: min 80 Pts. or equivalent.)

Specific Course/Certifications

  • Solid experience in: Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge (macros & database)
  • Desirable VBA / SQL programming / Database management
